We might update these Terms from time to time. We’ll announce any updates that we think are substantial, so check back here. If you keep using this site after we’ve posted changes, it means you accept the updated Agreement.
By using this site, you agree to our Terms & Conditions. If you (or the agency you are representing) don’t agree to our full Terms, you shouldn’t be using this site.
We give you license to our site, which means that you can use and enjoy this site provided by Take Me Cooking, as long as you follow the Terms of our Agreement.
We can withdraw or tweak the services we provide on this site without announcing it. If our site isn’t available at any time, we’re sorry, but we’re not responsible for any damage or loss that may happen because of that.
We can restrict your access to parts of this site (or the whole site) if we decide it’s necessary. We also have the right to disable your account username and password if you don’t follow our Terms of Service.
You’re responsible for making sure you have the information you need to use our site. You’re also responsible for anyone that uses a device that you own or control, so make sure they’re following these Terms.
Don’t use our site for anything illegal, such as anything that breaks local, national or international laws or regulations, is considered fraud, or is intended to harm someone.
When adding reviews or other content, make sure that everything you say is accurate, genuine, and legal, and make sure you have permission to write about third parties in your review (or any other content you might be contributing to our site).
When you write reviews, add links, or contribute any type of content to our site, make sure that none of your content is defamatory, discriminative, promotes violence, or is plagiarized.
You must comply with all duties and obligations in our Terms, especially when you’re using our reviews feature, or communicating with other users, i.e. hosts or other travelers.
If you upload, link to, contribute or add any material to our site, you’re giving up rights to that information.
If any third party claims that you have violated their intellectual property rights, we can give them your information. If anything you contribute to this site violates our Terms, we reserve the right to remove it at any time.
This site may have links to other websites, advertisers, offers, etc. that we don’t own or control. We aren’t responsible for these third party sites, apps, information, services, etc. If you click on any of these links, you do so at your own risk.
When you submit a review (or other content) on our site, you’re giving us permission to use it for any purpose, and you understand that you won’t be paid for this content.
You’re responsible for what you post on our site: i.e. don’t contribute or link to anything that you don’t have permission to post.

If you break the agreement set forth in our Terms, we can take any necessary actions, such as restricting your use of this site, removing any material you’ve posted, issuing a warning, or taking legal action.
You agree that we retain all rights to content on our website. All of these rights are reserved. This includes:

You must agree to our Terms to use this site, but agreeing to our Terms doesn’t create any kind of partnership or professional relationship between us.
We don’t own or provide chef services or cooking classes. Our hosts are responsible for each cooking experience, while we provide the platform to connect hosts with guests and review each event.
Please read the full disclaimer section of our Terms & Conditions, as it’s especially important (as is the rest of the Terms, but this section especially). This section waives our responsibility from perfection of the site, as well as meeting your requirements for a specific purpose.
Please read the full Our Liability section in our Terms & Conditions. This section explains that Take Me Cooking will not be responsible for loss related to use of this site.
If we are found to be responsible, our total liability is limited to the total fees you have paid to use the services on our site.
By law, these Terms can’t limit our liability for personal injury or death caused by our negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that can’t be excluded or limited by law.
Please read the full Your Liability section in our Terms & Conditions. This section explains your responsibility for any content you contribute to the site (links, reviews, etc.).
You’re responsible for any content that you contribute — i.e. Reviews. By agreeing to our Terms, you agree to not hold us responsible for content posted by others on the site.
This section also explains that you will compensate Take Me Cooking for any liabilities, legal costs, expenses, damages and losses related to your use (or misuse) of this site.
You (the customer) are responsible for paying the full event amount upfront, including the 5% admin fee.
If you want to get a refund from the event host, you must contact Take Me Cooking within 48 hours after the event ends. After this time, you won’t be eligible for a refund.
For refunds when cancelling a booking, you must cancel at least 7 calendar days before the start date of the event, or else you won’t be eligible for a refund.
Here are two situations where you will receive a full refund:
If the host cancels the bookingIf you cancel the booking more than 7 days before the event
Take Me Cooking may decide to investigate complaints and/or mediate disputes between hosts and customers. However, we are not liable for these situations:
Hosts not giving refundsAny loss that a customer suffers as a result of a host cancelling an eventOur failure to mediate a dispute or investigate a complaintOur decision to not mediate a dispute
This section explains that our full Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and that the courts of those countries will have jurisdiction over any claims or disputes related to our Terms.
If a single part of our full Terms isn’t enforceable, it doesn’t mean the rest of the agreement doesn’t still stand--the rest of the agreement is still valid.
In this section you agree that our entire Terms & Conditions make up the agreement between you and Take Me Cooking. Remember, this page is simply an easy-to-read summary of our Terms to make things easier, but by using our site, you are agreeing to our full Terms. Please read the entire document before agreeing.
If you have any issues, wish to make a complaint, or have a dispute relating to this Agreement, we strongly encourage you to first contact us directly to seek a resolution via e-mail at email@example.com. We will consider reasonable requests to resolve the dispute through alternative dispute resolution procedures, such as mediation or arbitration, as alternatives to litigation.
We will change our Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will always have the most current version available on our site, and if we think the changes are substantial, we might let you know via an email to the email address associated with your account.
